So this past week in the Syracuse Quilt Guild I learned a new term for charity quilts – Comfort Quilts.  I really like this phrase so much better!  Here’s another WIP I’ve had kicking around for years that finished up so it can be a comfort to someone else.

This is a quilt I made over a decade ago to go in my son’s room, but we moved shortly after I finished to top and he never had a bedroom that this quite fit in again.  I put a great warm flannel on the back and quilted it with an all-over baptist fan.
